Landscape: Synthetic Turf Pitch

The Council is inviting tenders for the design and installation of a full size 3G Synthetic Turf Pitch. Contractors must be available to commence works at the beginning of November 2017 and complete works within a 12 week period (weather permitting).

Routine servicing, maintenance and repair of fire fighting equipment


Value of contract: £1.0m – £1.2m

Specifically the services required include for:

(i) Annual wet testing of dry riser mains and twice a year checks of inlets, landing valves, drain valves, door hinges and locking arrangements to inlet and landing valve boxes;

(ii) Dry Riser – Bi annual test – (A) Service and visual inspection (B) Service, visual and Wet test;

(iii) Quarterly maintenance of Fire Alarm systems;

(iv) Annual check of portable fire extinguishers;

(v) Bi annual service to portable extinguisher at certain sites;

(vi) Annual check of fire blankets and replacement where necessary;

(vii) Quarterly test of automatic smoke ventilation windows;

(viii) Monthly Functional test to supported housing sites.
